Fayetteville Is An Astounding Place To Visit

Fayetteville is an astounding place to visit if you are thinking of hiring an Arkansas charter bus for a weekend holiday away from all the monotonous of daily life. In our first stop, we took the charter bus to Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park where more than 18,000 Union and Confederate solders fought in 1862.

Fayetteville offers the area’s most lively nightlife, exceptional shopping, historical sites and outdoor activities that take advantage of the magnificent Ozark Mountains. And our charter bus did not miss the new Clinton House Museum; it’s just one reason that Fayetteville IS Northwest Arkansas.

The beloved part of any of my adventures is always the ‘dining’ part of the trip. One of my friend suggested Cable Car Pizza. Just talking about it makes my mouth water and my mind is filled with images of their Pizza Bianca. Cable Car Pizza serves San Francisco style gourmet that was unique.

Busneeds.com took our charter bus trip to this cosmopolitan city as it offers a small town aura. Rich in military tradition, Fayetteville is home to one of the largest military installations in the United States. Fort Bragg features museums, statues, battle simulations and other displays.

The Fayetteville square is known for its beautiful gardens and Farmer’s Market that runs three days a week beginning in spring and ending in early autumn. Just blocks away, Dickson Street is the hip place for unique shops, dining locales, and tons of live music venues.

Completing the scene are the symphony concerts at the Walton Arts Center, which also brings Broadway shows, drama, and dance to the city’s entertainment district. Fayetteville is also rich in Civil War history with the National and Confederate cemeteries and Headquarters House.

At last we took our charter bus to The Pope Air Force Base, which boasts flight simulators and aircraft displays. Fayetteville offers many other attractions and forms of entertainment throughout the city. Shopping for antiques, visiting artists’ studios, taking in an off-Broadway production, or playing golf at one of the many area golf courses are all recommended activities while in Fayetteville.
